Follow me on Social Media, if you're feeling down and need a laugh!
Here is a little story about my "first" social media content. It was a YouTube channel. My grandfather (aka "Papa") had given me and my siblings an old iphone when we moved from Ohio to Florida so that we could Facetime with them. I was the oldest, so of course, I was the smartest and the leader of the pack. We would run around the house creating all sorts of movie scenes, of course I was the director. We thought that every video that we recorded on that old iphone was magically uploaded to YouTube. One day, we decided to see what happens to the refrigerator light when the door is closed... does it just stay on all the time? We must find out! So, I held the phone out with my arm extended to record myself and told my listeners "Now we will find out!" I put the phone in the fridge, shut the door for a few seconds, then opened the door again to remove the phone. My siblings and I watched the video, and that is when we learned that the light goes out when the door is closed! (Genius.) My mom found this video several years later and was shocked to learn that we thought we were uploading videos to the internet, when we knew good an well that we were not allowed to do that. Thankfully the statute of limitations must have expired, because she just laughed and thankfully we didn't get in trouble.
Anyway... I am happy to say that this time, I do have my parents' approval to post to social media. So please check it out!
Ok. Let me be honest here. My mom actually runs my facebook page. I say what goes up, but I mean, I am too young for facebook, right? (Just joking, thank you Mom! I love you!)
Follow me as my family and I embark on some random, and some not so random, shenanigans involving my book, art, and anything else we deem Instagram worthy!
